Er lebt seit mehr als zehn Jahren in Berlin. Nach einer zweij\u00e4hrigen Schauspielausbildung an der Berliner Schule f\u00fcr Schauspiel, begann er sein Studium als Darstellender K\u00fcnstler \/ Puppenspieler an der Hochschule f\u00fcr Schauspielkunst \u201eErnst Busch\u201c, welches er 2012 mit Diplom abschloss. Im Jahr 2014 erh\u00e4lt er vom Berliner Senat die Einstiegsf\u00f6rderung f\u00fcr sein Projekt \u201eMazal Tov, Performancekunst\u201c sowie vor kurzem eine Einzelprojektf\u00f6rderung f\u00fcr das zuk\u00fcnftige Projekt \u201eWe know what's hot where and when\u201c.<\/p>\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nIm Rahmen seines Studiums wirkte er als Schau- und Puppenspieler an mehreren Theaterst\u00fccken mit, z.B. \u201eHeinz Holzer \u2013 Fragmentierung Fortgeschritten\u201c (2012) unter der Regie von Markus Joss am Maxim Gorki Theater und \u201ePrometheus!\u201c (2011) unter der Regie von Alexandra Roscha S\u00e4idow im bat Studiotheater. Im Jahre 2009 zeigte er auch zwei eigene Theaterst\u00fccke am bat Studiotheater: \u201eIm Erwarten des gro\u00dfen wei\u00dfen Lichts\u201c, sowie \u201e1, 2, 3, 4 Fear\u201c. Gemeinsam mit Sivan Ben Yishai inszenierte er als\u00a0Co-Regisseur und Performer die Performances\u00a0\u201c3rd Land \/ IYKWIMAITYD\u201d (2015) am\u00a0\u201cFuture Forum\u201d, Berlin sowie\u00a0\u201cI Know I\u2019m Ugly but I Glitter in the Dark\u201d (2015) im Rahmen des\u00a0\u201cID Festivals\u201d im\u00a0\u201cRadialsystem V\u201d, Berlin. Im selbigen Jahr inszenierte er die Er\u00f6ffnungsperformance des \u201cPlayground Israel\u201d Festivals im\u00a0\u201cTheater an der Parkaue\u201d, Berlin mit Sch\u00fclern der\u00a0\u201cHeinz Brandt Oberschule\u201d.\n\nEr arbeitete als Puppenspieler in Marjane Satrapis Spielfilm \u201eChicken with Plums\u201c (2010) sowie als Schauspieler in Anna Maria Roznowskas Kurzfilm \u201eI\u2019m a Monkey\u201c (2013) und\u00a0in\u00a0Eran Riklis Spielfilm \u201cRefuge\u201d (erscheint 2017).\n\nSein besonderes Interesse gilt der Verbindung von Formen des visuellen Theaters, Video und Tanz; dies verfolgte er bereits in seinem Vordiplomst\u00fcck \u201eHinter der Glasscheibe\u201c (2010) und in seinem Diplomst\u00fcck \u201eUp, Up and Away!\u201c (2012). Parallel zu seinem Studium belegte er verschieden Kurse und Workshops wie z.B. Nik Haffners Collab am HZT Berlin, Butho, Modern Dance, CI, Biomechanik bei Gennadi Bogdanov, Akrobatik, Fechten und Pantomime. Als T\u00e4nzer wirkte er in Projekten wie \u201eIn Between\u201c von Anna Maria Roznowska und \u201eSprechende K\u00f6rper (K\u00f6rper-Sprache) Version 2011\u201c von Annette Jahns und Christian Kesten zur Komposition von Dieter Schnebel am Festspielhaus Hellerau mit.\n\nEr arbeitet\u00a0zusammen mit der Aktivistengruppe \"Peng! Collective\" an mehreren Kampagnen und\u00a0auf unterschiedlichen Theaterb\u00fchnen wie\u00a0\"Schauspiel Dortmund\", \"Sophiensaele\", Berlin und \"Kampnagel\", Hamburg.\n\nAmit Jacobi ist au\u00dferdem auch ausgebildeter Web- und Grafikdesigner mit mehreren Jahren Berufserfahrung. Er hat bei Adam Kalderons Deb\u00fctspielfilm \u201eMarzipan Flowers\u201c (2014) als Background-Art Designer in der Produktion mitgewirkt und entwarf die Filmkulissen in Gesamtl\u00e4nge von \u00fcber 600 Metern, die eine markante Charakteristik des Films sind.\n--><\/p>\n<p>Amit Jacobi (\u05e2\u05de\u05d9\u05ea \u05d9\u05e2\u05e7\u05d1\u05d9) is a writer, director, performer, and filmmaker living and working in Tel Aviv and Berlin. In &#8220;The Honoree,&#8221; he showcased his editing expertise.<\/p>\n<p>In addition to his work in writing and film, Jacobi is a dynamic performer. His stage performances have captivated audiences at renowned institutions like the Maxim Gorki Theater Berlin, Kampnagel Hamburg, HAU Hebbel am Ufer Berlin, and La Ga\u00eet\u00e9 Lyrique Paris. Notable collaborations include his work with Peng!
